today i did a task about Fiafia. What I had to do was write four facts about Fiafia. The facts that I wrote were that Fiafia has been going on for nine years. There were others like Fiafia is every two years or Fiafia means happy and celebration.
Today I did a task about my emotion for my year five and six camp coming up. What I had to do was pick five emotions that I might feel at the camp. When I finished picking my five emotions I had to write why I might feel that emotion.
Today I did a task about useing diffrent Addition stratagies. We are learning to add three digit numbers together using diffrent stratagies. We had to do one page a day. We had to use for diffrent stratigies to help us.
Today I did a task about addition strategies like Rounding and compensating and vertical addition. We had to answer the questions using the strategies we have learned. On the last pages we had to write what we have been learning the information and take a picture of it.
Today I did a task about the wing of Maui’s moa. We are learning to support all our answers with evidence from the text. First I had to write words that a close to moa then say which page its from and take a photo of it. Next I had to answer five questions about the story.
this week we have been learning about myths and legends ranginui and Papatuanuku here is my task.
Today I did a task about the story of Rangi and Papa by Mihi Roberts. We are learning to locate and summarise the main ideas from what i have read in my own words. On the first page we had to write five sentences about the book in my own words. On the last page I had to answer some questions.
Today I did a task about the treaty of Waitangi. On the first slide I had to read and answer ten questions from the treaty of Waitangi. On the second slide we had to read and describe what artical one of my book said in my own words. We did it again a few more time for the rest of the slides. On the last slide I had to write in my opinion if I thought if the treaty of waitangi was fair.
Today I did a task about a book I read called Turanganui-a-rua, Turanganui-a-Maru the author is Walton Walker. We are learning to locate and summarise the main ideas from what I read in my own words. On the first slide we had to read diffrent parts of the story then summurise it in our own and descriptive words. On the last page we had to answer some questions from the book.
For this week I’ve been doing a spelling task. We had to to one task per day. Today was my last day because tomorrow I’m going to a picnic. For todays task I had to Write that spelling words then write them in alphabetical order.
